Senior Strategic Transition Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Strategic Transition Manager to be a key point of contact for Funds Services within the Strategic Transitions Team. This role will involve participation in projects that include upgrades or new systems implementations and aiding in the identification and execution of automated solutions within the business. The successful candidate will play an active role in maintaining data quality in the Financial Information Architecture (FIA) prior to any system upgrades or new implementations. Additionally, this position requires ensuring that eFront is utilised as intended across various strategies. The role will demand close liaison with the operations team and, occasionally, with clients, alongside direct collaboration with the global change management team as needed. The position presents opportunities to support the Head of Strategic Transition on essential initiatives and is core to the success of operational projects in Fund Services.

Job Duties:

  • Support the Head of Strategic Transition on key initiatives.
  • Assist in the review of system developments, upgrades, and implementations for Fund Services.
  • Conduct data cleansing on eFront FIA to ensure a smooth transition of functionality to the business.
  • Support the development of innovative solutions to current business processes, while managing risk with the Funds operations teams.
  • Provide specialist support to the broader business.
  • Create automated templates using advanced Excel formulas to drive efficiencies and mitigate risks.
  • Participate in the delivery of project-related initiatives by supporting the Project Manager in leading local operational Funds Services projects.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate existing business processes and establish handover communication plans for projects transitioning into Business as Usual (BAU).
  • Ensure proper integration with the wider network and coordinate effectively with local and global stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with colleagues across various locations to facilitate timely delivery of projects, new business implementations, and client migrations.
  • Execute other ad-hoc tasks to support the Funds Services teams during busy periods.

Job Requirements:

  • Sound problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of fund structures.
  • Confident with eFront FIA.
  • Effective accounting skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Applied knowledge of VBA/macro coding (desired).
  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards and complex financial instrument disclosures (desired).
  • Prior experience in private equity and fund administration.
  • Experience using eFront FIA.
