Our client is seeking a Temporary Marketing Executive to support the delivery of marketing and communications activities for Finance. This role will assist with managing and optimising marketing channels, working closely with the Marketing Manager to implement multi-channel strategies aimed at target B2B audiences. As part of the Marketing PR & Communications team, the Marketing Executive will engage in various tasks including the execution of marketing plans, website management, and content creation. Job Duties:
- Assist the Marketing Manager in creating and implementing marketing strategies and communication programmes.
- Develop marketing plans for events and create promotional materials and sales aids.
- Utilise owned, earned, and paid media channels effectively to amplify opportunities.
- Engage in SEO efforts such as keyword and image optimisation.
- Project manage marketing delivery activities, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
- Manage brand development and dissemination of key messages.
- Oversee the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of the Finance website.
- Produce content for digital platforms, including social media, and monitor performance.
- Write and create various communication materials including newsletters and press releases.
- Manage supplier relationships with advertising agencies and graphic designers.
- Measure and report on marketing activities to inform future planning.
- Handle payment processing and budget tracking.
- Support a collaborative working environment across teams and departments.
- Uphold the Department’s values and support its mission and vision.
- Contribute to financial governance and adhere to internal controls and legislation regarding risk management.
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Marketing or Communications.
- A Professional Qualification in Marketing or PR is desirable.
- At least 2 years of marketing experience in a B2B sector, preferably within financial services.
- Proven experience in measuring marketing performance.
- Experience in managing high-profile events and sponsorships is desirable.
- Solid understanding of the difference between B2B and B2C marketing.
- Familiarity with the Isle of Man’s Finance Sector is beneficial.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and to specification.
- Highly organised with project management experience.
- Proficient in Digital Marketing channels, including CMS systems and social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong copywriting abilities adapting to various settings.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and SEMRush is an advantage.
- Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Creative Cloud applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and respond to feedback.
