Practice Manager

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Practice Manager to oversee the operations of their facility. This role involves a comprehensive approach to general office and business management, human resource management, safety management, and facility management. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, inducting, training, and managing the performance of staff, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The Practice Manager will handle financial administration, including payroll and cash management, while maintaining appointment booking systems and resolving any client complaints. Additionally, the role includes overseeing stock control and ensuring compliance with operational audits. The position is permanent and will offer opportunities for growth within the organization.

Job Duties:

  • Recruiting, inducting, training, and managing staff performance (appraisals) for nurses and receptionists.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and data protection guidelines.
  • Managing financial administration, including handling payroll, cash management, and tracking client payments and debt collection.
  • Overseeing appointment booking systems, managing recalls, and resolving client complaints effectively.
  • Ensuring stock control and the maintenance of equipment while adhering to operational audit compliance.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
  • A friendly, positive attitude with professional presentation.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking ability, including the capacity to assist clients at reception while handling telephone inquiries.
  • Excellent command of the English language and proficiency in professional correspondence, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
  • A solid understanding of client management and service operations.
  • Experience with relevant IT systems (preferably SOE Exact).
  • Outstanding communication and conflict resolution skills.
