Client Relationship Director

Our client is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded leader to take ownership of key client relationships and play a central role in driving the growth of their Private Wealth offering in Jersey. In this senior position, the successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to clients, providing strategic oversight to high-performing teams and contributing to the ongoing success of the business. The role requires a focus on building strong relationships, delivering exceptional service, and fostering the evolution of a growing organisation. Job Duties:

  • Drive client relationship excellence and growth by acting as the key contact for major clients.
  • Lead strategic meetings, ensuring high-quality deliverables and identifying opportunities to deepen and expand service offerings.
  • Achieve revenue, upsell and retention targets, review fee arrangements, and improve profitability across the portfolio.
  • Implement effective new-business development plans.
  • Provide strong leadership and team development, acting as a role model and ensuring succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of shared knowledge, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Embed robust risk management and compliance, ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, policies and control frameworks.
  • Collaborate on jurisdictional and group strategies, contributing to business development initiatives and representing the business with stakeholders, intermediaries, and regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and extensive experience in offshore financial services, including products, regulatory environments, risk mitigation and corporate governance.
  • Professional qualifications and commitment to development, including membership of a relevant financial institute and evidence of ongoing CPD.
  • Proven leadership ability with effective influencing skills and strong team-building capability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional client service, collaboration, and maintaining high compliance standards.
