Hotel Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee two boutique hotels with 20 and 15 rooms, respectively. The role involves providing oversight and strategic direction across both sites, ensuring that the high standards of service and operations are maintained. With a focus on fostering a non-corporate, dynamic environment, the successful candidate will be crucial in leading a dedicated team while driving any necessary improvements. Candidates should possess a strong operational knowledge across all departments and a track record in the hospitality sector. The role demands a hands-on approach and a solution-focused mindset.

Job Duties:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of both boutique hotels
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences and maintain high service standards
• Lead and develop hotel teams, promoting a positive work culture
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance profitability
• Maintain oversight of budgets and revenue management
• Foster relationships with guests and stakeholders within the local community
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies
• Travel between properties as required to ensure effective management

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience managing a hotel or multiple hospitality sites (minimum 5 years in a managerial role)
• Strong operational knowledge across all departments
• Commercially aware, with hands-on budget and revenue experience
• Comfort working in a non-corporate, fast-moving environment
• Practical, solution-focused, and willing to “roll up sleeves”
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Flexible with travel between properties
