Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Manager to support the setup and ongoing operations of a new commercial office. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to drive revenue growth through business development and execute strategic commercial plans while acting as a controller to ensure the delivery of KPIs from the team. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, client management expertise, and business development capabilities, along with operational know-how to build commercial structures from the ground up. Job Duties:
- Collaborate with leadership to establish the operational and commercial infrastructure of the commercial office, including the creation of key assets such as proposal document templates and case studies.
- Support in the onboarding and coordination of commercial and working group team members, monitoring actions to ensure delivery of KPIs, including execution of the target visit calendar.
- Monitor and coordinate pipeline activities with relevant owners, ensuring CRM and reporting systems are up to date and reflecting regular business development activity reporting.
- Focus on supporting the conversion of deals in the pipeline, ascertaining timescales for conversion rates and working to reduce these.
- Implement governance frameworks and compliance processes in accordance with internal policy and external regulations to ensure responsible growth.
- Monitor and report on performance using data from HubSpot and outcomes from working group meetings, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Contribute to the development and execution of a strategic commercial plan aimed at revenue generation and client expansion.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and service offerings that align with growth targets.
- Lead commercial pitch preparation and pricing strategies, working cross-functionally with marketing, finance, compliance, and legal teams.
- Ensure appropriate pricing models are reflected in the product and service proposition in conjunction with Finance & Pricing.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
- Experience in a commercial, business development, or client relationship role, preferably within the TCSP, funds, or advisory sectors.
- Robust understanding of corporate structuring and the TCSP sectors.
- Demonstrated success in managing high-net-worth private clients and/or corporate accounts.
- Strong understanding of commercial strategy, pricing models, and revenue generation.
- Experience in establishing or scaling a new business or office function is highly advantageous.
- Personal qualities such as integrity, adaptability, assertiveness, discretion, and emotional resilience are essential, along with a 'can-do' attitude.
