Treasury Analyst

Our client is seeking an individual to support the Group Treasury function, which is crucial in managing the Balance Sheet in accordance with prudential regulations and internal policies, as well as providing Cash Management Services for the Investment business. This role presents an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their knowledge in Treasury and Banking or to build upon prior experience. The successful candidate will prepare and present regular Treasury Reports to key internal stakeholders and collate data for analysis by gathering information from various sources. Additionally, they will prepare financial forecasts, document transactions, and maintain accurate record-keeping. A key aspect of the role will be to support the Treasury team's day-to-day operations by preparing a variety of instruction forms. Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders is essential, as well as liaising with clients to discuss the group’s products and services. The individual will also play a part in managing key sector risks and ensuring adherence to internal policies and prudential regulations, with a constant focus on the group's core values.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and present regular Treasury Reports to key internal stakeholders
  • Collate and analyse data from different sources
  • Prepare financial forecasts
  • Document transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Support the Treasury team with day-to-day operations by preparing a variety of instruction forms
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, demonstrating the group's values in all interactions
  • Liaise with clients to discuss the group’s products and services
  • Aid in the management of key sector risks and adherence to internal policy and regulations

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Finance or Banking is preferred but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other Microsoft products such as Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI is helpful
  • Understanding of Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Markets
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously when required
  • Strong client communication skills
  • Willingness to develop knowledge and expand role responsibilities
  • Ability to communicate ideas and issues clearly and concisely
