Our client is seeking a Senior New Business Administrator to join their Customer Services New Business Department. This full-time role reports to the New Business Manager and focuses on overseeing and processing high-risk and PEP applications, ensuring adherence to regulatory, AML/KYC, and company requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Job Duties:
- Review and quality-check documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with AML/KYC and multi-jurisdictional requirements.
- Deliver accurate and timely administration of transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
- Maintain data quality and integrity across all systems while promptly escalating discrepancies.
- Effectively prioritise workload to meet service level agreements and customer expectations, adapting to changing demands.
- Identify and escalate operational risks, errors, or breaches to safeguard compliance and mitigate financial or reputational impact.
- Support continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements and participating in efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to address queries and deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Stay informed of regulatory requirements and best practices for ongoing compliance and professional development.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing knowledge, supporting peers, and promoting high standards.
- Sign off on Higher Risk Applications, as well as PEP, complex, and high-value cases.
Job Requirements:
- Extensive understanding of life assurance products and onboarding processes.
- Strong knowledge of AML, CDD, FATCA, and CRA alongside offshore regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in a regulated financial services environment with a focus on high-risk new business applications.
- Experience conducting enhanced due diligence checks and risk assessments for high-risk, complex, and politically exposed individuals.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in high-risk decision-making.
- Ability to prioritise and manage complex workloads under pressure.
