Head, Real Estate Services & Administration

This role involves driving the implementation of the Real Estate Services (RES) enablement plan across the Isle of Man and Jersey, with a focus on enhancing the workplace experience in both locations. You will manage a local team while overseeing a remote team in Jersey, contributing to the business strategy and goals. Key areas of focus include leasing of space, property management, facilities management, technical services, logistics, project management, and physical security.  The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Physical Planning or related fields, alongside significant project management experience. With 8-10 years of relevant experience in Real Estate Management, you should demonstrate strong organisational capabilities in delivering projects that implement Real Estate Services.

Job Duties:

• Identify and deliver fit-for-purpose Real Estate solutions to ensure a consistent workplace experience across the Isle of Man and Jersey.
• Implement Real Estate Governance standards and fundamentals for leasing, buying, selling, and development within both jurisdictions.
• Monitor adherence to minimum standards related to retail and commercial infrastructure development and physical security.
• Oversee compliance with statutory and regulatory laws affecting Real Estate Services across the Isle of Man and Jersey.
• Drive the implementation of physical corporate infrastructure projects.
• Maintain and manage facilities for corporate infrastructure.
• Lead the implementation of the Real Estate Services practical plan to align with jurisdictional objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification in Physical Planning, or relevant experience in property, facilities, building management, and space planning.
• Core project management skills with experience in real estate and facilities roles focusing on project and programme delivery.
• 8-10 years of experience in Real Estate Management.
• Proven track record in implementing Real Estate Services projects in a functional leadership capacity.
• Strong leader with excellent management skills.
• Expertise in governance, risk, health, and safety compliance.
• Commercial vendor management experience.
