Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery of projects using best practice project management skills, tools, and techniques. This full-time role is based in the Isle of Man and is not open to relocation or sponsorship, so only Isle of Man residents are eligible to apply. The successful candidate will engage with and lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable business solutions within the defined parameters of scope, cost, and quality. The role involves significant responsibility, including the formal handover of projects into business as usual and ensuring that all required documentation is completed. You will develop project dashboards and reports that provide accurate information regarding progress, risks, and impact. Job Duties:

  • Conduct formal handover of the project into business as usual, including the handover of all required documentation and the completion and submission of a close-out report.
  • Develop project dashboards and reports providing accurate information regarding the ongoing progress, risks, and impact of the project to enable timely decision-making.
  • Drive the implementation of information management processes and systems to ensure all project information and documents are managed according to organisational and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and manage project risks through the delivery of risk reports to all stakeholders involved.
  • Engage with project and programme boards to ensure adequate understanding and buy-in to resolve risk concerns.
  • Identify key project stakeholders and participate in constituting the project board.
  • Engage with all stakeholders to ensure effective participation.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a first degree in Business Commerce or Project Management.
  • 5 - 7 years of significant experience in end-to-end project management through coordination of a project team and cross-functional resources.
  • Strong project administration skills, including project definition, planning, reporting, and resourcing.
  • Competence in articulate information, directing people, documenting facts, and embracing change.
  • Ability to adopt practical approaches to problem-solving and managing diverse teams.
