Senior Dealer, Asset Transfer

This permanent opportunity is within the Investments Department for a Senior Dealer, primarily focused on asset transfers and investment administration, supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of portfolio bond investments. The role is situated within a fast-paced, high-volume environment where the individual will play a crucial part in delivering accurate and timely outcomes. Responsibilities include resolving queries and maintaining strong service standards, with the added potential to expand into broader dealing activities over time. Reporting to the Dealing Manager, the role holder will be pivotal in enhancing client experiences and ensuring operational efficiency. The position requires someone ready to engage with various departments and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Job Duties:

  • Process asset transfers and related investment activity accurately and within agreed timelines
  • Maintain complete, auditable records to ensure control and regulatory readiness
  • Resolve adviser, client and internal queries promptly and effectively
  • Identify and process corrections, ensuring appropriate controls and communication
  • Support dealing activity where required, aligned to market windows and fund cut-off times
  • Collaborate with New Business, Claims and Investment Operations to deliver smooth client outcomes
  • Contribute to a flexible, cross-skilled team environment
  • Support continuous improvement, identifying risks and enhancing processes

Job Requirements:

  • Strong accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in high-volume processing within a regulated environment
  • Experience handling client or adviser queries in financial services
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Experience in asset transfers, settlements, custody or investment administration
  • Understanding of dealing processes, or willingness to develop
  • Experience working in time-sensitive environments
  • Awareness of portfolio bond structures
