Business Development Manager

This role seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth through the Employee Value Banking (EVB) proposition for consumer clients. The successful candidate will identify clients' financial and transactional needs while recommending suitable solutions. The position requires a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Personal and Private Banking, along with proficiency in designing client value propositions. The individual will ensure a consistent understanding of EVB across the organisation and represent it at relevant internal and external forums. The position is solely for Isle of Man residents, and relocation or sponsorship is not available. The individual will manage stakeholder engagements and deliver an outstanding client experience, supported by feedback mechanisms and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Duties:

  • Drive growth via the EVB proposition for consumer clients
  • Identify financial and transactional needs of clients
  • Recommend suitable solutions based on needs assessment
  • Ensure consistent understanding of EVB across the organisation
  • Represent EVB at internal and external forums with decision-making authority
  • Act as the primary contact for EVB across all segments
  • Manage stakeholder engagements to guarantee delivery within service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Implement client feedback surveys to enhance the client experience
  • Create measurement models for EVB clients across multiple channels
  • Collaborate with Marketing on go-to-market strategies and initiatives, including campaign management and client-based campaigns

Job Requirements:

  • First Degree in Business Commerce
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Personal and Private Banking
  • Expertise in designing and developing client value propositions
  • Experience in CHNW/Business Clients distribution environment
  • Proficiency in data management, advanced analytics, business intelligence, and quantitative techniques
  • Strong financial acumen, including the ability to interpret financial statements
  • Comprehensive product knowledge in consumer banking
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen in Persuasion & Communication
