Transactional Management Unit Specialist

This role involves implementing and managing a range of complex Structured Corporate Loan transactions within an asset class, supported by supervision, as stipulated by the loan agreement. The successful candidate will contribute to the Investment Banking business and Wholesale Clients. This position requires a minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in Transaction Management within Financial Services, ideally supporting Investment Banking. The role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centric services. The candidate will be responsible for operational oversight throughout the lifecycle of transactions, interacting with multiple stakeholders to guarantee compliance and mitigate risks. Additionally, the role necessitates a thorough understanding of investment banking debt products and the ability to interpret related legal agreements effectively. It is essential to maintain high standards in transaction documentation and management to support ongoing reporting requirements.

Job Duties:

  • Actively monitor, identify, resolve or escalate operational issues relating to each live transaction while maintaining regular communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to transaction terms and conditions by clients and third parties, while providing a high-quality service to mitigate operational risks.
  • Consult with stakeholders to deliver operational inputs and subject matter expertise on Structured Loan transaction requirements, supporting effective product development and smooth activations.
  • Create vanilla and complex transactions on ACBS based on legal agreement features to establish an accounting record, enabling ongoing administration and monitoring of the facility.
  • Maintain all documentation for assigned transactions in the appropriate internal systems and document management solutions to ensure effective transaction management.
  • Review, understand, and validate complex Structured Corporate Loan transactions to confirm that they align with the operational capabilities of Wholesale Clients.

Job Requirements:

  • Post Graduate Degree in Finance and Accounting.
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in Transaction Management, particularly in supporting Investment Banking.
  • Proven ability to deliver professional client-centric services to both internal and external clients.
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking Debt Products and financial instruments managed by Wholesale Clients TMU.
  • Experience in interpreting legal agreements related to structured loan transactions.
