Property Administrator

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated administrator to join a growing Property Team. The position requires managing a broad range of administrative tasks to a consistently high standard within a legal environment. Ideal candidates will possess a high proficiency in Microsoft Office and demonstrate excellent organisational skills. The successful applicant will be expected to coordinate property transactions, ensure compliance with relevant legislation, and provide vital support to lawyers and conveyancers. This position values collaboration and the contribution of each team member, making it an excellent entry point into the legal sector. The role is full-time, involves various administrative duties, and offers a chance to work in a friendly and supportive team.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate property transactions, renewals, and key contractual deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate property files, legal documentation, and compliance records.
  • Liaise with purchasers, vendors, landlords, tenants, surveyors, and agents.
  • Support lawyers and conveyancers with property searches, due diligence, and document preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant property legislation and internal policies.
  • Prepare reports, update databases, and carry out property administration tasks.
  • Provide general administrative support to the property law team, including diary management and correspondence.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative and/or secretarial role ideally within the legal sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise high standards of client care in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
  • Strong record-keeping and document management skills.
  • Problem-solving and proactive approach to tasks.
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused with strong client service skills.
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced legal environment.
