Trainee Compliance Analyst

This role involves supporting the Head of Compliance in managing the Compliance department, which encompasses regulatory compliance, risk management, anti-money laundering/counter financing of terrorism (AML/CFT), and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance. The successful candidate will be adaptable, as the role may extend beyond the duties outlined in this job description. The position is full-time, comprising 35 hours a week, with specified working hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday to Thursday and 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Fridays. The proposed start date is as soon as possible. This role offers the opportunity for professional development, including support for obtaining relevant qualifications.

Job Duties:

• Provide administrative and technical support to the Manager/Head of Compliance
• Stay updated with the necessary AML/CFT legislation
• Maintain and update information for the monthly Compliance Report
• Manage relationships with regulators
• Keep the Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP) updated and perform quarterly monitoring
• Undertake any reasonable ad hoc duties aligned with department and business needs
• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality regarding sensitive information
• Prepare regulatory reports for authorities and banks
• Address business queries from all departments

• A willingness to travel to Ramsey as required
