Sales Assistant

The Sales Assistant role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates to start in-store and progress within the organisation. The position is full-time, requiring availability from 08:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, with an expectation of working one in three Saturdays from 08:00 to 12:00. The role involves essential responsibilities such as maintaining tidiness in the warehouse, receiving goods, and ensuring proper allocation of orders to customers. Candidates will liaise with suppliers regarding any shortages and will benefit from a supportive team environment that encourages learning and career advancement. A smart appearance and punctuality are essential for success in this role.

Job Duties:

• Keep the warehouse tidy and organised
• Receive goods and put them away appropriately
• Inform suppliers of any shortages
• Allocate orders to customers efficiently
• Maintain excellent telephone communication with customers
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and advance through the company
• Present a smart and punctual manner
• Collaborate effectively as a team player
