Learning & Development Coordinator

Our client is seeking a full-time Learning & Development Coordinator to join their team. This role is integral to building, implementing, and administering the organisation's learning and development infrastructure. The successful candidate will coordinate learning programmes from end-to-end while taking ownership of the learning management system (LMS). This position requires a hands-on approach with a focus on creating order, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring high-quality learning experiences across the business. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external training providers to deliver structured learning initiatives. JOB DUTIES:

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing development of the learning and development system, ensuring it meets the business needs.
  • Build learning frameworks, pathways, and curricula within the LMS.
  • Configure user access, roles, learning journeys, and reporting functionality within the system.
  • Upload, maintain, and manage learning content, ensuring accuracy and version control.
  • Provide first-line support and guidance to users of the learning system across the organisation.
  • Coordinate the scheduling, logistics, and communications for learning and development programmes.
  • Administer course attendance tracking and follow-up actions with participants.
  • Liaise with internal subject matter experts and external training providers for course delivery.
  • Support the rollout of mandatory, role-based, and developmental learning initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date learning records and participation logs.
  • Produce regular reports on learning metrics, including completion rates and compliance data.
  • Monitor feedback and evaluation data to drive continuous improvement in learning processes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance learning processes, system functionality, and user experience.
  • Help develop standardised learning processes, templates, and guidance.
  • Contribute insights from system data and operational experience to shape the learning strategy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a learning and development, HR, or training administration role is essential.
  • Strong mindset for system design and maintenance of structured learning frameworks.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Confidence in working with data, reporting, and management information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Experience supporting learning programmes in a regulated or professional services environment is desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing or significantly configuring a learning management system would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with e-learning tools and blended learning delivery methods is beneficial.
  • Understanding of learning and development best practices is preferred.
