Our client is looking for a Senior / Trust Officer to assist in the efficient administration of a portfolio of client structures, including companies, partnerships, and trusts. This role involves working closely with a dynamic family office client relationship, which forms a key part of the business. The Trust Officer will be supported by their line manager and the wider team to deliver high-quality service levels to clients, while also mentoring junior colleagues when needed. Job Duties:
- Administer a portfolio of fiduciary structures, including companies, trusts, and partnerships.
- Interact directly with clients to meet their needs and identify potential new business opportunities.
- Deliver on client commitments within agreed deadlines.
- Meet personal targets related to time recording and utilisation, supporting the team in achieving profitability.
- Review time spent on client relationships and ensure prompt collection of fees.
- Develop an awareness of risk management tools and policies, with guidance from the team.
- Collaborate with team members to build strong working relationships and promote business objectives.
- Provide guidance and technical support to junior colleagues.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience within the fiduciary sector, ideally 3 to 5 years, with good client service skills.
- Strong understanding of the technical principles of fiduciary administration, including preparing board minutes and handling administrative tasks.
- Awareness of current issues affecting fiduciary structures and clients.
- Fluent in English, with additional languages being desirable.
- Studying towards or holding a relevant professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA.
- Educated to A-Level standards or equivalent, with a commitment to maintaining Continued Professional Development CPD in line with qualifications.
