Our client is seeking a Broker / Underwriter to join their Underwriting department, on a permanent full-time basis. You will deal with clients over the telephone and via email to ensure that retention and sales targets are maximised, through the provision of efficient communication and negotiation skills, whilst maintaining thorough and accurate records of all customer interactions. You will be required to learn and understand the legal principles of insurance contracts and insurance products. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of windows based programmes, excellent communication skills, the ability to work alone and as part of a team and have good timekeeping and presentation of themselves and their work.
