Our client is seeking a CDD Senior Administrator to join their team in Guernsey. This role will support the Client Due Diligence (CDD) team in ensuring compliance with regulatory CDD requirements. You will assist in managing the CDD database, provide training support, and be the point of contact for engagement teams regarding CDD queries. The company offers the opportunity for training towards obtaining the ICA Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), supporting your professional development.
Job Duties:
- Analyse and evaluate client profile questionnaires to assess risk ratings for AML/CFT purposes.
- Review and ensure that CDD for new and existing clients meets regulatory requirements.
- Assist engagement teams with profiling requirements and advise on obtaining relevant CDD.
- Ensure CDD provided by engagement teams is compliant with regulatory standards and properly filed.
- Update the CDD database with relevant and key details in accordance with regulatory guidance.
- Support the operations team and engagement teams in conducting background checks to assess potential risks related to AML/CFT.
- Maintain and update high-risk and PEP registers.
- Perform ad-hoc duties to support the risk team as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Exposure to AML/CFT requirements within a regulated business.
- Ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple stakeholders, and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail with proven experience working with databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Knowledge of Guernsey/Jersey financial services regulation is beneficial.
- Experience in risk profiling is preferable but not essential.
- Excellent written, spoken, and listening skills in English.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
