Job Duties:
- Assist in or lead the planning and execution of audit engagements
- Evaluate internal controls, risk management procedures and financial reporting systems
- Prepare working papers, audit reports and documentation in line with internal and regulatory standards
- Identify audit issues and recommend practical solutions
- Liaise with clients to obtain required documentation and information
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members (for more senior roles)
- Maintain accurate audit records and ensure timely completion of audit assignments
- Stay updated with changes in auditing standards, financial regulations and best practices
- Build strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery
- Contribute to internal projects and process improvements as required
Job Requirements:
- Relevant experience in audit, with responsibilities varying according to level
- Studying towards or holding a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of auditing and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- For senior roles: experience in coaching or supervising junior staff is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
