Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their Family Office team in the Isle of Man. The role involves administering multi-jurisdictional trusts and companies, with a focus on ensuring exceptional client service. The Senior Administrator will work closely with other departments such as Accounting, Banking, and Compliance, and interact regularly with external clients and business contacts. The position provides opportunities for personal development and training to enhance professional growth.
Job Duties:
- Perform all aspects of trust and company trust administration.
- Manage and maintain awareness of the workflow relating to your portfolio.
- Liaise with clients and intermediaries on various transactions, and prepare relevant transactional documentation such as minutes, resolutions, and agreements.
- Open and maintain bank accounts, including payment instructions and reviewing bank and asset statements.
- Arrange investment reviews for trusts and companies and implement any required actions.
- Maintain company and trust records in compliance with due diligence, procedures, and AML regulations.
- Keep accurate timesheets daily.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of transactions and commercial acumen.
- Support and guide other team members.
- Contribute to the mitigation of risk, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ad hoc projects as required.
Job Requirements:
- Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent.
- Studying or willing to study STEP or ICSA qualifications.
- 4-5 years of experience in the administration of trusts and international companies.
- Excellent technical knowledge of trusts and company administration.
- Ability to work effectively within a team across different jurisdictions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, staff, and management in multiple jurisdictions.
- Highly organised with a systematic approach and good attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of ownership of client relationships.
- Good understanding of associated regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of UK and South African tax planning is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
