Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer / Litigator to join their team. This permanent full-time role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience and strong expertise in handling commercial legal matters. The successful candidate will manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent client care skills and a proactive, motivated approach to their work.
Job Duties:
- Handle a variety of commercial legal matters, including litigation and dispute resolution
- Provide expert legal advice to clients on commercial contracts, corporate disputes, and regulatory issues
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Conduct legal research to support case strategy and decision-making
- Manage client relationships effectively, ensuring high standards of service delivery
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop case strategies and share legal insights
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial law and litigation
- Strong client care skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and motivated work ethic
- Ability to manage a busy and fast-paced workload effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A qualified lawyer with the right to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
