Our client is seeking a Manager to oversee the management and coordination of the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of clients across various asset classes, including onboarding and transfer of administration services. This full-time role requires proactive leadership to ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and client service standards. The Manager will supervise a team, act as a key contact for clients, and contribute to the company’s operational efficiency and professional reputation.
Job Duties:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a range of fund structures, management vehicles, and associated entities, liaising with clients and intermediaries.
- Coordinate legal, tax, and other professional advice.
- Manage company secretarial duties, including convening Board meetings, preparing Board packs, attending meetings, and drafting minutes.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and distribution of periodic financial statements in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Deliver exceptional client service and ensure a positive client experience.
- Assist with billing, including analysis of time spent and management of aged debtors.
- Liaise with auditors and manage the year-end/interim audit process.
- Continuously review and enhance business processes, procedures, and checklists to improve efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Act as a higher authority on day-to-day queries and act as a Level A signatory on administrative matters.
- Supervise and assist in the training and development of team members.
- Actively manage the performance and development of direct reports, ensuring objectives are set and achieved.
- Facilitate a positive onboarding experience for new joiners.
- Oversee the appraisal process for the team.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the funds industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of people management experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to build strong working relationships.
- Flexible approach to work with strong time management and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with fund systems such as Investran or eFront is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of local regulatory requirements.
- A relevant professional qualification.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Evidence of managing client relationships or significant involvement in major client relationships.
