Assistant Manager, Executive Compensation

Our client is seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking individual to join their highly experienced department as an Assistant Manager, focusing on fund and equity incentive structures. This role offers the opportunity to manage and mentor others while specialising in the rapidly expanding area of private equity incentive arrangements. Job Duties: 

  • Collaborate with the team to manage a diverse portfolio of structures, ensuring understanding and adherence to internal policies and procedures
  • Independently lead on client transactions and liaise with relevant third-party advisors and business partners
  • Provide guidance and development to team members and assist in training needs
  • Maintain open and honest communication with clients on a regular basis
  • Review and manage the workload of team administrators daily, reporting to senior management
  • Assist with appraisals and monthly objective meetings, mentoring junior staff members
  • Proactively take on additional responsibilities and assist team members to enhance their knowledge of various clients


Job Requirements: 

  • To hold or be working towards a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, ICSA, STEP or equivalent)
  • Preferable experience in fund administration, employee benefit trusts, or private equity, though strong incentives backgrounds will be considered
  • Committed to achieving excellence for themselves, their team, and their clients
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Effective team player with a strong academic background
  • Knowledge of local legislation and corporate governance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Proactive in staying informed about current industry issues
  • A desire to learn and grow within the organisation, aiming to become an expert in incentive schemes and sharing knowledge with the team
