Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to provide a comprehensive company and trust administration service. This is a full-time, permanent role, requiring a strong understanding of corporate governance and Jersey company law. Job Duties:
- Administer a portfolio of complex corporate structures, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and administration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third-party advisors.
- Review periodic reports and transaction documents before approval by directors or trustees.
- Apply commercial awareness in managing client structures.
- Draft and prepare documents such as minutes, resolutions, and small agreements as needed.
- Review annual accounts for client portfolios, collaborating with bookkeepers and accountants to ensure accurate records.
- Attend client meetings and liaise with investment advisors, asset managers, and other professional advisors.
- Identify opportunities to offer additional services to clients within the company network.
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Assist in supervising, mentoring, and developing junior staff as required.
- Provide coverage for team managers or other administrators during absences due to holiday or sickness, in conjunction with the client director.
- Understand and apply relevant legislation and guidance affecting fiduciary businesses, ensuring compliance with client structures and adherence to Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requirements.
- Record all time on the company’s time recording system, manage Work in Progress (WIP), and monitor debtors and cash collection for a client portfolio.
- Achieve financial targets as determined by management.
- Perform other duties as reasonably required by management.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in trust and company administration, financial services, or a legal services environment.
- Studying towards or qualified in CGI (ICSA) or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Proactive, forward-thinking, and able to use initiative in task management.
- Committed and driven to achieve excellence for both personal and client success.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to supervise and develop junior staff.
