Technology Learning Advisor

Our client is seeking a Technology Learning Advisor to join their Global Change Team. This role involves supporting the growth and delivery of the technology learning programme to optimise the use of technology within the firm. Reporting to the Technology Change Manager, the Technology Learning Advisor will work with project teams and product owners to create, maintain, and promote tech-focused learning. Job Duties:

  • Support the Technology Training Manager in delivering the technology learning strategy and contribute to its development.
  • Manage and deliver key tech training sessions using various delivery channels, providing feedback on tech use cases, challenges, and opportunities from the users' perspective.
  • Offer feedback and consultancy support to project teams and change sponsors, considering tech changes from the end user's perspective.
  • Coach subject matter experts in effective training delivery, ensuring a consistent experience across the firm.
  • Create and deliver engaging training material to support new technology implementations or enhance existing technology use.
  • Explore new and existing tech solutions to identify opportunities for enhancing client service.
  • Stay updated on industry-leading learning tools and techniques to complement the firm's toolkit.
  • Keep abreast of the global change programme to identify relevant training needs.
  • Identify and engage new starters or individuals interested in becoming part of early adopter groups, subject matter experts, or champions.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the firm.
  • Support the Tech-yes-ology workshop programme, aligning it with business needs and demands.
  • Contribute to the tech elements of the new starter induction programme and onboarding pack.
  • Utilise collaboration tools and communication channels to influence and support global staff.

Job Requirements:

  • An interest in technology with a proactive approach to exploring and improving tech solutions.
  • Client service orientation with excellent communication and influencing skills across various stakeholders.
  • Confidence in delivering training sessions to both large groups and individuals, across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ability to explain tech benefits in non-technical terms clearly.
  • An inquisitive and entrepreneurial approach to learning.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A ‘completer-finisher’ who takes accountability for ideas and drives them from inception to delivery.
  • Ability to interpret data for reporting and measuring success.
  • High level of organisation, including managing others effectively.
