Assistant Manager, Private Clients

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead a small private client team. This role is focused on managing client relationships as the lead Relationship Manager (RM) for a diverse client portfolio. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director and manage a small team, ensuring the smooth processing of client work and adherence to regulatory requirements. Job Duties:

  • Act as the first point of contact for various clients.
  • Solve queries and issues raised by a diverse client book.
  • Ensure new business meets company requirements.
  • Assist clients in meeting the Guernsey-regulated aspects of their business needs.
  • Manage the team to process client work efficiently and within deadlines.
  • Identify and implement improvements for greater efficiency in systems and processes.
  • Carry out B signatory responsibilities.
  • Provide cover for the Director when necessary.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in trust and company administration, with some exposure to corporate clients.
  • Proven experience in directly managing client relationships.
  • People management experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Guernsey protected cell companies is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to overlay compliance and legal solutions.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise client needs and team resources effectively.
