Head of Price, Promotions & Ordering Support Office

Our client is seeking a Head of Price, Promotions and Ordering to join their team. This senior role plays a critical part in shaping the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring the delivery of financial targets set by the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors. Job Duties

  • Develop, implement, and review the pricing and value strategy, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining the client's reputation for value.
  • Analyse and manage the impact of pricing decisions on financial performance, monitoring price positions, and responding to changes in product costs.
  • Oversee promotional offers, including range, pricing, displays, and events, optimising them for maximum sales, volume, and margin.
  • Monitor and analyse promotional performance against internal KPIs, improving plans based on results.
  • Ensure all promotional funding is accurately claimed and reported.
  • Drive incremental volume through new promotional opportunities, enhancing the perception of value and member benefits.
  • Lead the improvement of product availability across locations through effective stock management, ordering processes, and forecasting.
  • Manage seasonal event forecasting and stock allocations.


Job Requirements

  • Strong business and financial acumen, with a proven track record of developing strategies and delivering results.
  • Experience operating at a commercially focused, strategic level across a variety of sectors.
  • Deep understanding of pricing, promotional, and merchandising strategies.
  • Ability to interpret internal and external data to identify trends and actionable insights, formulating plans to meet business goals.
  • Demonstrates high personal credibility, integrity, and the ability to manage relationships across various hierarchical levels.
  • Strong influencing skills to drive engagement.
  • Experience in coaching and leading diverse teams.
  • Proven project management experience.
