Manager

Our client is seeking a Manager for their team. This permanent, hybrid role requires an individual to manage a portfolio of employee share trusts, maintain client relationships, and support business development initiatives. Job Duties:

  • Manage the day-to-day activity of a portfolio of employee share trusts alongside the team and internal support teams.
  • Liaise with clients, advisors, and third parties to ensure smooth administration of trusts.
  • Oversee the acquisition and distribution of trust shares, including sale and transfer upon vesting of plan awards.
  • Attend trustee meetings, review documentation, and draft minutes and instructions.
  • Manage onboarding for new clients and establish employee share trusts in line with company policies.
  • Conduct client reviews, refresh KYC records, and address any action points.
  • Participate in business development, attending industry events, meeting with potential referrers, and preparing proposals.
  • Develop and inspire the team to align with the Group’s stakeholder culture and core competencies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the relevant field and adhere to risk, compliance, and AML requirements.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Hold or be studying for a relevant professional qualification e.g. Corporate Governance Institute Certificate in Employee Share or willingness to pursue one.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of employee share or benefit trusts for both listed and private clients.
  • Confidence in liaising with clients, advisors, and third parties.
  • Ability to travel for client and intermediary meetings and attend industry events.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to delegate effectively.
  • Collaborative team player, working well within the team and across departments.
