Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Our client, a professional services business, is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join their Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will play a key part in transforming raw data into actionable insights. Your expertise will be essential in interpreting complex datasets and presenting them in a compelling and clear manner. You will work closely with various teams to ensure data-driven decision-making, while also mentoring junior team members. Job Duties:

• Design and develop sophisticated business intelligence solutions, such as PowerBI dashboards, that communicate data insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity, fostering confidence across the organisation.
• Conduct training sessions to help teams utilise analytics tools and dashboards.
• Stay updated on the latest business intelligence tools and visualisation techniques.
• Work closely with Data Engineers and other specialists in the Data & Analytics team.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Job Requirements:

• Proven expertise in business intelligence, with a portfolio of impactful dashboards and analytics solutions.
• Proficiency in major business intelligence tools e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Looker.
• Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with data manipulation languages e.g. DAX or MDX.
• Strong design skills with the ability to create visually appealing data presentations.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in business intelligence or a related field.
