Our client is seeking a dedicated Trust Officer / Administrator, depending on experience, to join their Client Services team. This role involves providing general administration to a defined portfolio of clients, with support from other team members. Job Duties:
- Administer a portfolio of clients efficiently and accurately.
- Support the Finance and Accounting team by uploading payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure bookkeeping is up to date, liaising with the Finance & Accounting team as needed.
- Set up and maintain statutory records and assist with the formation of limited companies and new trusts.
- Liaise with internal and external clients, third parties, and professional intermediaries.
- Ensure client information is up to date in the client database.
- Act as a responsible ‘B’ signatory and manage compliance activities.
- Assist with compliance and health and safety requirements, keeping up to date with policies and mandatory training.
- Attend relevant courses to develop knowledge as required by your Line Manager or Directors.
- Provide support in training and supervising junior members of the team (for Trust Officer level).
Job Requirements:
- Working towards or already holding a professional qualification relevant to the role (e.g. ICSA, STEP, CAT).
- 2+ years’ relevant experience for Trust Administrator, 5+ years’ experience for Trust Officer.
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in using document management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and external clients.
- Ability to act independently and prioritise tasks efficiently.
