Trust Administrator / Officer

Our client is seeking a dedicated Trust Officer / Administrator, depending on experience, to join their Client Services team. This role involves providing general administration to a defined portfolio of clients, with support from other team members. The successful candidate will offer assistance to senior team members with day-to-day client administration and ad-hoc duties, ensuring smooth operations across the business. Job Duties:

  • Administer a portfolio of clients efficiently and accurately.
  • Support the Finance and Accounting team by uploading payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure bookkeeping is up to date, liaising with the Finance & Accounting team as needed.
  • Set up and maintain statutory records and assist with the formation of limited companies and new trusts.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients, third parties, and professional intermediaries.
  • Ensure client information is up to date in the client database.
  • Act as a responsible ‘B’ signatory and manage compliance activities.
  • Assist with compliance and health and safety requirements, keeping up to date with policies and mandatory training.
  • Attend relevant courses to develop knowledge as required by your Line Manager or Directors.
  • Provide support in training and supervising junior members of the team (for Trust Officer level).

 

Job Requirements:

  • Working towards or already holding a professional qualification relevant to the role (e.g. ICSA, STEP, CAT).
  • 2+ years’ relevant experience for Trust Administrator, 5+ years’ experience for Trust Officer.
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in using document management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and external clients.
  • Ability to act independently and prioritise tasks efficiently.
