Senior Payroll & Benefits Administrator

Our client, based in Jersey, is seeking a Senior Payroll and Benefits Administrator. The role involves coordinating and processing monthly and ad hoc payrolls across multiple jurisdictions, as well as assisting with the planning, development, and delivery of employee benefits. Job Duties:

  • Coordinate annual benefit renewals, working with external brokers and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor trends in employee benefits and assist in promoting offerings
  • Support benefit implementation projects and act as a key contact for benefit queries
  • Administer benefit updates, policies, invoicing, and cost splits to finance
  • Assist in preparing salary and benefit survey submissions
  • Process and review monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy for multiple jurisdictions
  • Identify payroll variances and ensure timely collation of payroll data
  • Perform manual and system-based payroll calculations
  • Maintain payroll process notes and act as the main point of contact for payroll queries
  • Ensure compliance with company processes, regulations, and jurisdictional requirements
  • Assist with statutory return data preparation and payroll audit documentation
  • Provide support for payroll-related queries from Finance and HR

 

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in benefits and payroll administration
  • Strong numerical aptitude and academic background
  • Excellent Excel and analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Confidentiality in handling sensitive work
  • Diplomatic, team-oriented, and able to approach tasks analytically
