Our client is looking for a Cash and Accounts Payable Administrator to manage the end-to-end processing of invoices, payments, and vendor relations. This role requires efficiency in handling financial transactions, ensuring accurate and timely invoice payments, and providing support during audits. Job Duties:
- Process invoices for payment within two working days and resolve discrepancies with departments
- Perform periodic housekeeping of the purchase order database
- Manage workflows and query logs, ensuring timely invoice coding and approval
- Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring payments are made on time and only approved transactions are settled
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of new vendor accounts
- Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues and perform supplier statement reconciliations
- Check and process staff expenses and credit cards
- Administer customer refunds
- Assist with internal and external audit processes
- Maintain and update the cash book, recording all cash transactions accurately
- Reconcile cash book entries with bank statements
Job Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Problem-solving ability to resolve issues promptly
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work on own initiative
