Client Bookkeeper

Our client is seeking a Client Bookkeeper to join their growing team. Specialising in providing expert financial services to local businesses and individuals, our client prides itself on maximising business potential and simplifying taxation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks for a variety of clients, preparing VAT returns, assisting with financial statements, and handling tax returns. Job Duties:
 

• Perform bookkeeping tasks for various clients, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Handle simple accounts and assist in preparing financial statements.
• Prepare tax returns and liaise with clients to gather necessary information.
• Use accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and VT to manage client accounts.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth service delivery.

Job Requirements:
 

• Strong bookkeeping and financial statement preparation skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, Xero, and VT.
• A recognised qualification such as CAT, AAT, or an equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Previous experience in client-facing roles is an advantage.
