Our client is seeking an Officer, Data Remediation on a temporary basis who will be responsible for ensuring systems availability and completing critical systems processing. This role involves ongoing monitoring, performance management, and resolving any system faults or degradation. Job Duties:
- Monitor and manage systems availability and performance, ensuring the completion of critical processing.
- Detect, analyse, and resolve faults or degradation in system performance.
- Provide general desktop and printer support, managing out-of-service hardware and resolving issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain platforms and operating systems to ensure application functionality.
- Implement and monitor security protocols such as firewalls and user management.
- Engage with business users and take accountability for helpdesk, field service, and IT engagement functions.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain both proprietary and third-party technology applications.
- Translate system requirements into application prototypes and write and maintain code.
- Monitor adherence to change and operational service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure documentation for programming and system processes is accurate and up to date.
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in technology operations or infrastructure production, including desktop and printer support and security protocol implementation.
- 3-4 years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining technology applications.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, database administration, IT applications, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with root cause analysis and business process improvement.
