Temporary Senior Associate, Risk & Quality - 18 months

Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a Risk and Quality Senior Associate on a temporary basis for a period of 18 months. You will support the delivery of risk and compliance projects. Working alongside the Firmwide Risk Manager and the Independence and Ethics Director, the role involves managing risk assessments, compliance processes, and reporting activities. Based in the Channel Islands, with travel between Jersey and Guernsey, you will work on risk management projects across diverse functions, supporting the firm’s compliance with regulatory requirements and ISO standards. Job Duties:

  • Manage the annual Network Standards compliance assessment process, including updates to access lists and assessments via the Archer system.
  • Conduct initial reviews of assessments, identifying potential issues, and preparing reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Track network standards calls, supporting Functional Area Leads with action points.
  • Populate the Findings Tracker, monitor remediation plans, and report findings to Firmwide Risk Management.
  • Maintain the Firmwide Risk Register, updating top risks and preparing reports for risk management meetings.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system, ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO 27001 (Information Security) and ISO 22301 (Business Continuity).
  • Define and review Service Level Agreements with Network Firms for Risk and Quality services.
  • Support the development of risk-related training materials and liaise with Learning & Development for annual training.
  • Provide ad hoc support for risk and quality projects, including policy updates and process mapping.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, ICA Diploma, or IRM qualification) is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take responsibility for own work.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
