Our client is seeking a Senior Investigator for their friendly team. The successful candidate will manage, support, and mentor Investigators in the day-to-day execution, progress, and conclusion of cases and investigations. Job Duties:
- Lead the scoping of case strategies, ensuring they are reasonable and proportionate.
- Actively manage the execution and conclusion of cases and investigations in a timely, efficient, and proportionate manner.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, fair, balanced, and transparent communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide clear and appropriate information to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure timely cooperation and exchange of information with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to enhance legislation, processes, and procedures within the organisation.
- Collaborate in publishing guidance and lessons learned to raise awareness and standards among regulated firms.
- Assist in developing and disseminating guidance and educational materials to the public to support educational efforts.
- Support the development of Investigators by providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in line management, mentoring, and/or coaching.
- Understanding or practical experience of formal investigatory processes, along with knowledge of the financial industry, regulatory, and compliance experience.
- Strong judgement and decision-making skills, with excellent time and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
