Our client is seeking a Senior Manager to lead their Cash Management Team. The role involves managing and overseeing all aspects of daily cash transactions, ensuring timely processing and effective coordination within the team. Job Duties:
- Act as an authorised signatory for payments, foreign exchanges, fixed deposits, and receipts.
- Lead and manage the Cash Management Team, ensuring tasks are prioritised and completed within deadlines.
- Oversee cash systems, maintaining data integrity and control.
- Manage housekeeping and control reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and third-party stakeholders.
- Provide support to the Banking & Treasury Team and senior management.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for team issues.
- Handle HR-related tasks, including team wellbeing, appraisals, and overtime.
- Continuously improve and update procedures, implementing control mechanisms to minimise risk.
- Contribute to Banking & Treasury initiatives and projects to improve efficiency and client service.
- Deliver training, coaching, and feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including AML legislation.
- Uphold CPD and in-house procedural standards.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience managing and leading teams.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Expertise in cash management, including knowledge of foreign exchanges and fixed deposits.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong technical knowledge of payments and commercial decision-making skills.
- Ability to take initiative and provide solutions.
