Review Assistant Manager / Manager - 6-12 Months

Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager or Manager to undertake private client reviews on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. This full-time role, based in Jersey, involves conducting in-depth reviews of client entities, completing risk analysis questionnaires, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Job Duties:

  • Undertake in-depth reviews of client entities and complete risk analysis questionnaires.
  • Highlight any areas where procedures have not been followed or overlooked.
  • Assist private client staff with client issues and liaise with the board and compliance when necessary.
  • Deliver reviews in line with the annual plan agreed with senior management.
  • Offer guidance to the private client team to ensure files are fully compliant.
  • Record all time spent on client matters accurately to ensure proper invoicing.
  • Provide innovative suggestions to improve daily tasks and the file review process.
  • Promote the highest standards of client service, administration, and record keeping, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in clearing action points from reviews, where necessary.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Experience within the trust services industry or similar regulated business.
  • Strong awareness of Jersey local trust and company legislation and practice, including AML Laws and Orders.
  • Effective communicator with strong relationship management skills.
  • Good time management and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to consider and select appropriate solutions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant experience in fiduciary services.
  • Diploma level of ICSA/STEP or equivalent qualification.
  • Sound business judgement with the ability to assess risk.
  • Excellent IT and organisational skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible approach.
