Our client is seeking a capable and proactive Human Resources Administrator to cover a 6-8 month maternity leave, ideally beginning in January 2025 for a handover period, with full-time availability preferred. This temporary role supports key HR functions and involves a variety of administrative and organisational responsibilities, ensuring continuity across recruitment, employee relations, staff relocation, training, and policy advisement. Job Duties:
- Coordinate recruitment and selection processes, including shortlisting, interviewing, and providing feedback
- Advise on HR matters such as employment legislation, employee relations, and performance management
- Assist with staff relocations to Guernsey, including accommodation searches and permit applications
- Oversee the Graduate Development Programme, managing rotations and Analyst appointments
- Manage lease agreements for flat sub-lets, including rent reviews and payroll updates
- Support the induction and core training programmes, ensuring new joiners and staff receive essential training
- Advise on and process amendments to terms and conditions, internal policies, and procedures
- Monitor and report monthly on staff headcount breakdowns
- Facilitate the leavers process, conducting exit interviews and compiling feedback reports
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience in HR administration and recruitment processes
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
