Senior Finance Manager

Our client is offering an exciting, permanent full-time opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to join their Finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing the Finance function, including Balance Sheet Risk Management, Financial Reporting, and day-to-day operations. The Senior Finance Manager will ensure the implementation of robust governance, controls, monitoring, and reporting systems to effectively manage prudential, conduct, and operational risks. Additionally, the role will contribute to the client’s strategic initiatives, reinforcing financial strength, safeguarding stakeholders' interests, maintaining regulatory confidence, and promoting team welfare. Job Duties: 

  • Oversee accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate financial information on business activities and performance
  • Provide Executive Committee and Board with financial performance updates, flagging potential risks to financial well-being
  • Ensure that the ICAAP is prepared in line with regulatory timelines, confirming adequate capital for regulatory and business requirements
  • Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to monitor and manage liquidity and interest rate risk
  • Lead and support the finance team, fostering competence and integrity for effective business operations
  • Maintain CPD (Continued Professional Development) requirements as per qualification level and internal procedures
  • Uphold core values and expected behaviours of the organisation
  • Perform additional duties as required by management


Job Requirements: 

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience
  • Membership in a recognised professional body (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and reviewing business strategy
  • Strong knowledge of operational processes, procedures, and technology
  • Proficiency in treasury and liquidity risk management
