Senior Finance Manager

Our client is offering an exciting, permanent full-time opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to join their Finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing the Finance function, including Balance Sheet Risk Management, Financial Reporting, and day-to-day operations. The Senior Finance Manager will ensure the implementation of robust governance, controls, monitoring, and reporting systems to effectively manage prudential, conduct, and operational risks. Job Duties: 

• Oversee accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate financial information on business activities and performance
• Provide Executive Committee and Board with financial performance updates, flagging potential risks to financial well-being
• Ensure that the ICAAP is prepared in line with regulatory timelines, confirming adequate capital for regulatory and business requirements
• Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to monitor and manage liquidity and interest rate risk
• Lead and support the finance team, fostering competence and integrity for effective business operations
• Maintain CPD (Continued Professional Development) requirements as per qualification level and internal procedures
• Uphold core values and expected behaviours of the organisation
• Perform additional duties as required by management

Job Requirements: 

• Degree level education or equivalent experience
• Membership in a recognised professional body (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
• Experience in developing, implementing, and reviewing business strategy
• Strong knowledge of operational processes, procedures, and technology
• Proficiency in treasury and liquidity risk management
