Temporary Administrator, Banking Operations - 12 months

Our client is seeking a Temporary Administrator for a 12-month fixed-term contract within their Banking Operations team. This role is focused on providing efficient operational, business management, and administrative support to the Investment Services team. The successful candidate will have a background in finance, with specific experience in cash reconciliation, journal management, and handling audit requests, ensuring high-quality client service and supporting the business’s operational needs. Job Duties: 

  • Perform cash reconciliations and manage related journal entries.
  • Handle audit requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Investment Services team.
  • Ensure all operational processes align with the company’s compliance standards.
  • Document facts and maintain records for internal and external audits.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within banking operations.
  • Support business management tasks, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Engage in statistical and financial analysis as required.
  • Prepare reports and provide insights to improve business operations.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business Commerce or Finance and Accounting.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience within a banking environment.
  • Proven experience with cash reconciliation, journals, and audit processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of business administration and financial management practices.
  • Competent with planning, forecasting, and budgeting tasks.
  • Ability to remain composed, take initiative, and demonstrate a positive, solution-oriented approach.
