Senior Administrator, New Business Team

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Administrator to join the New Business Team within Private Client Services on a permanent basis. This hybrid role involves ensuring efficient onboarding and formation of structures for both new and existing clients, primarily within the private client sector. Reporting to the Manager of the New Business Team, the role encompasses close collaboration with Sales and Service teams to handle all client matters related to new business documentation, preparation, and approvals. Job Duties:

  • Work within regulatory frameworks (such as JFSC) to ensure that compliance protocols and governance oversight are properly applied to new business formations.
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise and market knowledge to optimise the onboarding experience and client satisfaction.
  • Provide robust administrative support to the New Business, Sales, and Service teams.
  • Prepare and coordinate internal approval documentation, ensuring consistency and clarity for senior management review.
  • Oversee the implementation of structures, keeping databases up-to-date and ensuring seamless transition to relevant administration teams.
  • Actively contribute to achieving New Business targets.
  • Liaise regularly with Directors and the Global Business Development team.
  • Seek guidance on complex issues as needed, and manage client matters in a professional, client-focused manner.
  • Support junior team members and offer guidance when required.
  • Manage deadlines effectively, working well under pressure and adapting quickly to new systems and processes.
  • Adhere to Risk & Compliance procedures in line with AML/CFT legislation.
  • Embody core values and expected behaviours within all activities.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of trustee and company risks and responsibilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of AML/TF risks related to new client onboarding.
  • Solid understanding of risk, relationship management, contractual and statutory obligations.
  • Familiarity with requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in investigating and resolving queries effectively.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven experience in managing team priorities and workload independently.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
