Junior Investment Administrator

Our client is looking for a Junior Investment Administrator to join their investment administration team on a permanent basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated school or university leaver to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry, supporting a diverse portfolio of private clients, companies, and intermediaries worldwide. Job Duties: 

• Generate daily reports and monitor investment data.
• Check trade orders pre-authorisation and execute trades accurately.
• Process payments, set up, and amend stock entries as required.
• Update and maintain security pricing information.
• Conduct and document Investment Risk Rating Reviews.
• Manage and maintain various internal spreadsheets for investment records.
• Add or remove securities on price feeds, ensuring accuracy in all updates.
• Reconcile client cash and stock accounts, investigating any discrepancies.
• Monitor and manage the central Investment email box, responding promptly to requests.

Job Requirements:

• Strong interest in investments and financial markets.
• High level of numeracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel, including creating and using formulas.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
