Trust Manager

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Trust Manager to manage a portfolio of trust and company clients. This position works closely with Directors to ensure the efficient administration of client structures while delivering consistently high-quality service. The Trust Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring financial transactions are handled accurately, and that all client requirements are met. Job Duties:

  • Manage a portfolio of trust and company clients, overseeing the daily administration of their structures.
  • Handle correspondence with clients, banks, lawyers, accountants, and other professionals using appropriate professional language.
  • Liaise with service providers, including bankers, investment managers, and registered offices, for daily administrative matters.
  • Draft trust and company minutes and resolutions.
  • Maintain and update Client Due Diligence (CDD) records.
  • Prepare annual validations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with Company Secretarial functions, including share transfers and updating records for changes in directors and secretaries.
  • Support Directors with various projects as needed.
  • Process the payment of invoices and manage other routine administrative tasks.
  • Maintain knowledge of company secretarial, compliance, and anti-money laundering practices.
  • Assist in preparing meeting packs for client meetings.
  • Perform any additional duties as required.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified or part-qualified professional qualification such as STEP.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within trust and company management.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively within a team.
  • Proficiency with IT systems, including electronic filing and flexible database management.
