Financial Risk & Reporting Senior Associate

Our client is seeking a Financial Risk and Reporting Senior Associate to join their high-performing internal finance team. This full-time role requires 37.5 contracted hours per week and will be based in Jersey. The successful candidate will support financial reporting and financial operations, working closely with the Financial Risk and Reporting Lead. The role involves overseeing outsourced functions related to accounts payable and receivable, supporting financial reporting, and assisting with both external and internal audits. Job Duties: 

  • Oversee the outsourced Accounts Payable function, including invoice management, supplier onboarding, compliance, and payment authorisation
  • Manage dispute resolutions and staff expenses reimbursements
  • Oversee the outsourced Accounts Receivable function, including daily cash receipts, return of funds, and cash flow forecasting
  • Ensure financial bookkeeping accuracy for both main LLP and subsidiary companies
  • Assist in preparing monthly accruals, prepayments, and other accounting estimates
  • Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and credit card accounts
  • Assist in preparing annual financial statements (IFRS) and supporting documentation for both main LLP and subsidiary companies
  • Oversee fixed asset management and carry out other tasks as assigned by the Finance Risk and Report Lead


Job Requirements: 

  • Qualified accountant with a recognised accounting body
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting standards, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis
  • Technologically proficient, with strong commercial awareness and analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Action-oriented and proactive, committed to continuous process improvement and driving change through technology
  • Evidence of building and maintaining strong professional relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP and Sage
  • Experience with PowerBI
