Trainee Administrator, Funds & Corporate

Our client is seeking a dedicated Trainee Administrator to support the management and administration of a diverse portfolio, including companies, fund structures, trusts, and other entities. This role is pivotal to business success and centres on developing and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring high standards of client service. Job Duties: 

  • Assist administration staff with client management and daily tasks
  • Prepare draft minutes and resolutions for managed entities, including companies, fund structures, and trusts
  • Prepare payments through electronic banking systems and written instructions, ensuring sufficient funds and complete documentation
  • Assist with updating client statutory records and databases/registers
  • Support the process of opening bank accounts, including drafting minutes as required
  • Assist with bookkeeping for managed entities
  • Monitor “Money Laundering” and “Customer Due Diligence” issues, reporting concerns as necessary
  • Participate in various projects as needed
  • Record daily billable time in the time billing system
  • Perform additional duties as required by the team or in response to evolving business needs


Job Requirements: 

  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with database systems, such as Unity (preferred)
  • Knowledge of corporate, fund, and trust structures
  • Organisational skills and a proactive approach
  • Basic understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) legislation
  • Familiarity with company procedures relevant to the role
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (A-C) including English and Maths
  • Interest in or progress toward an industry-recognised qualification
  • Ideally, at least two years of general office experience
