Job Duties:
- Work within a busy front office lending team, handling client meetings and queries, and reviewing mortgage and loan applications within agreed SLAs.
- Act as an internal and external credit advisor, assessing client structures and creating client-centric solutions.
- Review and renew existing loan facilities.
- Present cases to the bank’s credit committee.
- Support Lending Officers in the approval and finalisation of facilities they underwrite.
- Collaborate with Credit Risk and Credit Operations departments to ensure credit facilities align with the organisation’s risk strategy, embedding a strong risk culture in product design, case submissions, and portfolio reviews.
- Make recommendations for continuous improvements to the lending process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement (CI) lending targets.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance, banking, or lending.
- Holds or is willing to pursue relevant qualifications, such as CEMAP.
- Strong administration skills with a focus on speed, accuracy, and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Cooperative and team-oriented attitude.
